1 - Who is the Target Audience?
The target audience for the portfolio showccase is current NWTC students, alumni, faculty, and members of the community that are interested in attending.
2 - What is the Message?
The message is the website is trying to convey is enticing interest for the event. Images of the event were used in various parts of the design to do this, as well as focusing on the specific areas of interest represented in the showcase event.
3 - What is the Goal?
The goal is attracting guests and educating them on the various programs that are displaying their projects at the event.
4 - What are the CTAs?
The call to action(s) used on the website are the "read more" buttons on the cards for people to learn more about the programs and event. Also there is a contact section in the navigation, which brings a user to a web page with an interactive map to get directions, as well as a form to fill out to inquire for more information.
5 - Design Layout Summary
There were a lot of decisions made when it came to the design of the website. I tried to use a lot of neutral colors in the scheme, and tried to keep the site looking as professional looking as possible. My goal was to keep things uniform, so I only had a handful of colors that I used throughout the design. I also kept a lot of margins and paddings consistent with that of other elements to give the pages a very structured feeling and appearance. The font I used was chosen because it was a sans-serif font, professional looking, and easy on the eyes to read.
